Ed Begley Jr and Rachelle Carson, believes in saving the Earth, joined our crusade, RECYCLE, Adopt a Rescue Dog!  Operation Blankets of Love is an important canine red cross recycling blankets and necessities to animal shelters and rescues.  Yorkies & Friends believes less is more in their approach treatment of  Holistic Medicines for all their rescues. Bonnie,1.3 yr old female Yorkie-Poo, with only one eye barely escaped death row.  Marley ,a brave 2 yr old male Yorkie mix, his owners tried to pull his tooth with piers, breaking his jaw then dropping Marley at the shelter. Harper was kicked by his owners breaking his hip, in pain at the shelter.  Beagles & Buddies in 18 yrs have saved over 12,000 dogs! Adam & Eve, 7 yr. old bonded Coon Hounds were saved from death row. Alma, 5 yr old beagle with one blind eye had a tumor that hung to the ground. Howard Leese shares his passion for music with Mutt Match LA.  Winder, a very special long haired Chihuahua mix, born with a crooked spine, will capture your heart! Winder doesn't know he is handicap as he gets around FAST! Attie, Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix, a gentle soul who was living on the streets. Mutt Match LA opened their heart and their home.  Lucus, Miniature Pinscher mix, is a little star waiting to shine. Marley, white shepherd mix, left behind by his family, dumped in the shelter, rescued wants his own family who will stay with him. Match Match LA has a passion for all breeds especially the special needs.
Robin McAuley with the luck of the Irish gets to spend a charming afternoon with Ginger from Mary's Little Lambs with Desert Dogs Rescue.  Ginger, a terrier mix, with her sister, Spice, were in a high kill shelter.  Their cries were heard by Marys Little Lambs with Desert Dogs.  Warm and save, Ginger and Spice, grew strong and healthy at their foster home.  Spice found her foreverhome while Ginger gets to hang out with Robin McAuley.  Help Ginger and all of Marys Little Lamb with Desert Dogs Animal Rescue find their forever homes!
Barry Boswick, after a long day of acting , likes to hike with companions such as 2-1/2 yr old Deaf Rottweiler, Raven .  Rachelle, founder of Angels in Fur, rescues all breeds of dogs without discrimination.  Angels in Fur, saved Raven from a high kill shelter finding out shortly after that Raven was Deaf.    After minutes with Barry, Raven enjoyed their photo session.  Give Raven  a chance to win your heart as they won Barry, by helping their guardian angel, Angels in Fur!
Mackenzie Philips, established actress & big animal advocate, cherished a few moments with Leroy, from Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles.  Leroy is 7 years old pug that was found as a stray and his owners never came to find him.  Leroy had a large tumor over his back left leg.  Consequently the shelter would not put him up for adoption by the public, only a rescue group could take him.  It was a joint effort between San Diego Pug Rescue and Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles. The vet for Pug Nation removed the tumor and luckily it was benign.  Leroy  like any little guy is happy to snuggle up with his favorite celebrity, Mackenzie!
Bill Champlin with his wife Tamara enjoy a relaxing afternoon with Cher, Meryl Strep and Molly from Pet Orphans of  So. California.  Molly is a Dachshund Terrier mix, 2 ½ years old that was found running the streets with her puppy (Polly) before being brought to Pet Orphans.   Cher was abandoned with five 3 day old puppies and brought to the shelter.   Pet Orphans saved the family.  Cher, 3 yr old Papillion mix, enjoyed being a mother, but loves being cherished by a family. Meryl Streep is a product of a new type of neglect.   The  charming Aussie mix holds no malice to being abandoned at the  shelter by her owner at the age of 13.

Holly Fields, an amazing actress who's voice is a thousand characters, could be Hollywood's princess with Sadie, a three month old Box/Pitt mix, and Alaska, a year old white Shepard/Husky mix, from The Lovejoy Foundation.  Erin LoveJoy, founder, saved Sadie and her sister (a litter of six) from a backyard breeder.
Alaska was roaming the streets of South Central Los Angeles emaciated, dehydrated and flea infested.  The Lovejoy Foundation, nursed her back to health and housetrained Alaska.  Please help The Lovejoy Foundation save more lives in their battle to educate!
Jennifer Lyons, a beautiful angel with a heart of gold saving furry souls during her busy schedule taking time to be with 11 yr old Yorkie, Lily and 5 yr old Yorkie, Charles, from  Yorkie Rescue of America.  Tiffini, founder, saved tiny Charles from Orange County shelter where he was left to die.  He was covered in feces and throwing up.  He could not hold down his food. Charles was diagnosed with megaesophagus.  Yorkie Rescue of America cared for little Charles, who  had a mild case of pneumonia, and feeding tubes. Gradually he was weaned to 2-3 meals eating on his own. He is a strong guy looking for his forever home.  Lily is a beautiful senior playing the role of a puppy! Dave Jenkins, enjoys a fun day with 7 month old puppy, Skeeter, who was rescued from a high kill shelter in Bakersfield.  Suzanne, founder of Border Collies in Need had to rush him to the ER when he collapsed.  Skeeter was diagnosed with Parvo virus.  Border Collie in Need spend hundreds of dollars trying to keep this puppy alive.  Skeeter is a happy puppy thanks to Border Collies in Need!  Jaime Kyle snuggles with Hope, who was living with a homeless person who passed leaving Hope to roam the streets.  Hope morned her deceased owner while she was in the shelter bringing little intersted in this lonely dog who ended up on the kill list. Border Collies in Need saved Hope, giving her a reason for living and Skeeter a second chance. Angel Boris with her family during bedtime stories with Honey, Bitsy and Shea  from  One Dog Rescue.  
Honey's family turned her into Ventura shelter because they couldn't afford to bring her to the vet. Her leg was bandaged up for a few weeks, with crate rest her leg is  healed. Bisty is 4 mths, weighing 4 lbs.  She was found in a dog house at auto repair shop.  Bitsy was an unwanted puppy gift forced to live out in the cold weather.  Shea was a stray that no-one claimed. One Dog Rescue helps save the over population of  the Chihuahuas.  Family time is a lonely time without a rescue from One Dog Rescue.
Rick Mora had an hauntingly beautiful evening with Husky Haven of L.A.  Nanook on his last hours at the shelter, was found as a 1 yr old stray on the streets with a deformity. One of his front legs had grown backward, twisting upwards. Nanook the tripod had a few rough days. Now he runs, plays and is very active on 3 legs.  Tank and his sister Ursula killed a goat because of they deed placed in isolation.  The gentle 2 yrs olds couple were on death row. Their only salvation came from Husky Haven. Ursula had a mishap during her spay and her bladder was nicked. Ursula with her medical issue of not holding her urine needs her brother to help her existence.  The bonded couple with Nanook are in a save haven with 55 huskies, Husky Haven of  L.A.
Sharon Wissel is having a charming rendezvous with Adopt A Chow LA at Gallery 8.  Ebony and Midnight, 7 mth old Chow/Lab puppies, were purchased from a backyard breeder by a young couple with a toddler.  The family realized that they couldn't afford the puppies, especially since  Midnight had a slight case of  pneumonia.  Tera, 6 month old Chow with her siblings came from backyard breeder, who didn't take care of them. The puppies were filthy and  terrified from being left alone in a backyard.  Adopt A Chow transported three pups to Chow rescues in northern CA.  Tera with Midnight and Ebony found their foster home with Adopt A Chow LA, an all breed rescue saving lives!
 Anthony Anderson, a superstar actor, with his long list of credits, is enjoying a few minutes of relaxation with MAX, a loving 4 yr old german shepherd who was on the KILL list of Downey.  Max was rescued by a team of rescues and found his foster home with Tina, founder of Little Pampered Paws Rescue.  LPPR saves smaller dogs but when Tina heard of Max's story..she opened her heart and home to help a life that was going to be euthanized.  Please check out: Little Pampered Paws Rescue  for more loving souls.
