"The Filmmakers" Saving K9 Lives Reality

Holly Fields began her acting career at age 6 in Sacramento, where she understudied Molly Ringwald in "Through the Looking Glass". Soon after, her family moved to Dallas, Texas where she became a theater veteran along with her brother. She toured in national theater productions and was in the Broadway cast of "Annie" at age 11. Soon after, she started doing commercials, modeling and local TV shows. At age 13, Holly went to Los Angeles for one month to see what would happen. A week after the move, she was cast in the CBS pilot "CBS Summer Playhouse: Fort Figueroa (#2.10)" (1988) starring opposite Charles Haid. Her family decided to let her give it a try and moved to Los Angeles.

Weeks after, Holly was seen by Christopher Guest and given a part in his film The Big Picture (1989). She quickly began landing leading roles acting opposite such as Michael J. Fox, Christopher Walken, Jennifer Aniston and Burt Reynolds, and being hired by Madonna, Garry Shandling and Chris Carter, among others.

 Holly has an all-girl group named "Zoom" signed to Avex Tracks Records in Japan and produced by Joey Carbone whom she met while filming "It's Garry Shandling's Show." (1986). Holly is well known as a voice over artist. Holly is a huge animal advocate and joined “Saving K9 Lives” in early development.
Matt Sanders started off his Photographer career at an early age.  While Matt was studying in college, he had landed a job assisting David LaChappelle, a well established photographer.  Matt worked for over eight years on advertising, editorial, music videos for such artists as Elton John, Justin Timberlake just to name a few.  After he graduated, Matt got his own photography representation and started a career shooting fashion editorials and European magazines advertising.  His interest for this project came first through a love for dogs, animals, and helping them in anyway he could. Matt joined “Saving K9 Lives” in the early stages of development.  His flare for beauty is captured in the life of every photo with our celebrities with Dogs in Need.
Helmut Roethel has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years first starting in music and in 1996 he transitioned into live/stage entertainment production.  Shortly thereafter, in 1999, he then sought a career in television production and in 2002 he began working for one of the leaders in reality television.  Since then Helmut has climbed the ranks and held positions as Director of Post Production; Director of Technical Operations; Director of Technical Services and Vice President of Production to name only a few. Helmut's skills, knowledge and ability to hold a tight ship allowed him to quickly climb the ranks and be credited on over 1,000 episodes of televised content included a program that had won a Daytime Emmy Award.  Helmut’s involvement was vast ranging from camera and sound operator to editor and production manager.  His positions at the executive level involved guiding post and production and generating million dollar budgets.  Helmut continues to expand his career and is currently working on three other television pilots “Breaking The Band”, “The Fast Lane” and “Saving K9 Lives”.
Bobby Kimball is best known as the lead singer of the Grammy award winning group, TOTO. In 1974, Bobby Kimball left Louisiana and moved to Los Angeles where he joined 3 members from the defunct band, Three Dog Night, to form a new band called S.S. Fools. They released one album on CBS Records, but the band split up within a year and a half. About 6 months later, Kimball was asked by David Paich and Jeff Porcaro, the two initial founding members of Toto, to join the five session musicians to form Toto. He submitted a self-penned audition song for the band, "You are the Flower", which was included on their debut album.Bobby has been touring and doing concerts with many of his friends' bands around the world. In January 2010, he did 14 concerts in Germany on the "Rock Meets Classic" Tour with "The Prague Symphony Orchestra," featuring Philipp Maier as Conductor and Music Arranger. The singers with Kimball on this tour were Lou Gramm, the original lead vocalist of Foreigner, and Dan McCafferty, from the band Nazareth.On May 16, 2010, at the LMHOF Louisiana Music Homecoming in Erwinville, LA, Bobby Kimball was inducted into The Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.  Bobby has just completed the vocals on a Duets CD with Jimi Jamison, who sang with the band Survivor, which will be released by Frontiers Records in the Spring of 2011. Bobby is now recording his new Solo CDs and working with his Solo Band. Bobby wrote the opening song, “Saving my Best Friend”, for Saving K9 Lives.  He has been promoting the show from early development.
Jasmin Gabay started her career as an actress, but found that she had a drive to push the business in show business.  Jasmin fell into show business by accident landing a small part in “Chips” allowing her to get into Screen Actors Guild.  After years of technique studies, Jasmin was asked to become the vice chair of the Asian Committee of SAG helping to open doors to Asian American actors. She has a children's project in development   On 2005, Jasmin adopted her first dog, Simon Sez.  Five years later, she helped a friend find a maltese.  It was the first time she entered the shelter systems.  It was a learning experience that reformed her.  Jasmin fostered dogs, gave blankets to the dogs in need and helped with adoptions.  When her friend, who was a maltese breeder, asked for help finding homes for all her dogs including the puppies, Jasmin and Tina Badgett formed "Little Pampered Paws Rescue".  In January, 2011, Jasmin and her husband, Bobby Kimball, created "Saving K9 Lives" to help promote adoption and educate the public how to care for your rescue dog.
